Jeffrey Allan Lash, a mysterious California man whose decomposed body was found in a car and was revealed to be in possession of a massive weapons stash, may have other secrets—at least, according to his fiancée and a woman who worked for her.

KTLA reports that Dawn VadBunker, an employee of Lash’s fiancée, claimed the man was an “alien/human” hybrid working for the U.S. government—something that allegedly both her and the fiancée, Catherine Nebron, believed.

After Lash collapsed in a parking lot, Nebron said she put the body in her SUV instead of calling the police because she believed the “secret agencies” Lash worked for would pick up the body. She then left for Oregon with VadBunker—and, when she returned 10 days later, was shocked to find that the body was still in the car.

This is the latest twist in a bizarre story that includes the discovery of a massive stockpile of 1,200 weapons at Lash’s home, including guns, scopes, over six tons of ammo, bows and arrows, knives, and machetes. Police also recovered 14 vehicles—including an SUV designed to be driven underwater—and $230,000 in cash.

Nebron’s attorney, Harlan Braun, seemed to insinuate that something was up with this dude:

The story itself sounds totally crazy but then how do you explain all this?” Braun said. “There’s no evidence he was a drug dealer or he stole these weapons, or had any criminal source of income, no stolen property, all the stuff you’d look for.

And just to make this story even stranger…VadBunker’s family hasn’t seen her since since the alleged day Lash died. Her mother told KTLA that Dawn believed Lash was “…part alien and part human and was out to save the world” and “sent to earth to protect us.”

Was Jeffrey Allan Lash some sort of alien James Bond? Why and how did he acquire so many weapons, vehicles, and cash? What happened to Dawn VadBunker? Was this all part of some sort of cult or shared delusion?

One thing is for sure…this is probably going to get even weirder.
